POET Augments Investor Outreach Efforts and Announces Management Role Change

POET Technologies Inc., a Toronto-based company traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol PTK and on the NASDAQ under the symbol POET, has recently announced two new engagements to strengthen its investor outreach efforts. POET specializes in the design and development of the POET Optical Interposer™ and Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for data center, telecommunication, and artificial intelligence (AI) markets.

The first engagement is with Cormark Securities Inc., a leading independent investment dealer in Canada. Cormark Securities will act as a financial advisor to POET, providing market intelligence, strategic advice on investor relations, and capital markets access. This partnership is expected to enhance POET's visibility within the Canadian investment community and broaden its reach to potential investors.

The second engagement is with MZ Group North America, a full-service investor relations firm based in Irvine, California. MZ Group will provide investor relations consulting services to POET, including strategic planning, investor targeting, and ongoing investor communication. This collaboration aims to strengthen POET's investor relations program and improve its engagement with the US investment community.

In addition to these investor outreach initiatives, POET also announced a management role change. The company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Suresh Sundaresan, will be stepping down from his position effective May 31, 2024. Sundaresan will be succeeded by Dr. Gerald Sussman, who currently serves as the Company's President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Sussman brings extensive experience in the photonics industry and has been instrumental in driving the development of POET's advanced technology solutions.

Under Sussman's leadership as CEO, POET will continue to focus on executing its strategic growth plans and delivering innovative solutions to meet the increasing demand for high-speed data transfer and processing in the data center, telecommunication, and AI markets.

These announcements reflect POET's commitment to strengthening its investor relations efforts and ensuring a smooth leadership transition to continue driving growth and innovation in the photonics industry.
