Netflix’s Disenchantment suggests the messy future of princess stories

Disenchantment, the new animated Netflix show from Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening, shows how far princess stories have come since the pretty-and-passive 1950s. Princess stories like Wonder Woman and Frozen show how standards are changing.
