Frustrated parents rally outside meeting asking to return to in-person learning
The Lake Washington School Board had to speak over frustrated parents rallying outside their Monday night meeting. The parents are fighting for middle and high schoolers to get back to in-person learning after the district announced those grades would stay remote for the rest of the school year. “I know it’s OK to go back to school because hard data tells us that it is—and to see this turnout, it’s very validating,” said parent Janelle Miller.
