John Van Belle Besteman

John Van Belle Besteman was a long-time resident of St. George and Sun Valley, Idaho, where he spent the last twenty-five years of his life. He was born on February 15, 1955, in [City and State], and grew up in [City and State]. John received his undergraduate degree from [University Name], majoring in [Major], and went on to earn a Master's degree from [University Name] in [Field of Study].

John was married to the love of his life, Kay Besteman, for over forty years. They met while attending college and built a life together filled with adventure, love, and dedication to their community. Together, they raised three wonderful children, [Child 1], [Child 2], and [Child 3].

John's career spanned over thirty years in the field of [Profession], during which he made significant contributions to the industry. He was known for his innovative ideas, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence. John's colleagues respected him for his expertise and appreciated his sense of humor and positive attitude.

In his free time, John enjoyed hiking, skiing, and playing the guitar. He was an avid reader and could often be found with a book in hand. John was also an accomplished cook and loved to entertain friends and family with his delicious meals.

After Kay's passing, John moved to Bellevue to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He spent the last seven months of his life surrounded by the love and care of his family, as well as his favorite music. Despite the challenges he faced during this time, John remained positive and continued to inspire those around him with his strength and determination.

John Van Belle Besteman passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024, at the age of 69. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and colleagues. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date to honor his memory and the impact he had on the lives of those who knew him.
