U.S. News Releases Its Annual College Rankings. Here’s What’s Wrong With Them.

U.S, News & World Report released the 2020 edition of its Best Colleges today. Despite some changes to the methodology, the rankings still are subject to major problems, including excessive subjectivity, institutional gaming, and an emphasis on institutional wealth rather than student learning.
