Moonlighting protein makes a hospital germ harmful

The Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium is a widespread and dangerous hospital germ. It infects the respiratory tract and lungs and possesses natural resistance to numerous antibiotics. There is an ongoing search for so-called pathoblockers to be able to combat the bacterium better in the future.
