Red Bull at risk of being ‘torn apart’ by Christian Horner controversy claims Jos Verstappen

Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull Racing, has been at the center of controversy claims made by Jos Verstappen. According to Verstappen, Horner's actions during the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix have put the team at risk of being "torn apart."

During the race, Horner ordered Verstappen to slow down and let Lewis Hamilton pass, despite Verstappen being in a commanding lead. This decision ultimately led to Verstappen losing the race and Hamilton winning the championship.

Verstappen has since accused Horner of making the decision solely to appease Mercedes, who were sponsoring Red Bull at the time. He also claimed that Horner had promised him that he would be given more freedom in future races, but that this promise was not kept.

Horner has denied these claims and stated that he is "absolutely confident" that he will stay on as team principal after the opening race in Bahrain. However, the controversy has caused tension within the team and there have been reports of behind-the-scenes disagreements between Horner and Verstappen.

It is worth noting that Red Bull has a long history of success in Formula One, with Horner leading the team to four consecutive championships from 2010 to 2013. However, the controversy surrounding the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix has put the team's future in doubt.
