‘The medical bills for Steve’s care have started to come in’: Crowdfunding for West Seattle bicyclist’s widow

Steve Hulsman was a 66-year-old man who lived in West Seattle. On December 1st, he was riding his bicycle in Arbor Heights when a 53-year-old man driving a car made a left turn and didn't see him in time to stop. The accident occurred at approximately 2:00 PM according to the police report. Unfortunately, Steve passed away as a result of his injuries.

The medical bills for Steve's care have started to come in, and his widow is seeking financial assistance through crowdfunding. The funds raised will be used to cover the costs of funeral expenses, medical bills, and other related expenses.

In addition to the crowdfunding campaign, a ghost bike memorial has been set up at the crash site. A ghost bike is a bicycle that is painted white and left at the scene of a fatal accident as a tribute to the victim. The memorial serves as a reminder of the tragic event and honors Steve's memory.

The West Seattle community is coming together to support Steve's widow and remember him as a kind and caring neighbor. Many people are donating to the crowdfunding campaign and leaving messages of condolence on the ghost bike memorial.
